Soft life wey balance!

Peter was planning on robbing a very rich man, called Alaye, at his hotel. He had an inside man working that night that was able to open his hotel room. Once Peter got inside, he noticed that there was a safe with a four-digit code needed to open it. He then left a tiny camera in the corner of the ceiling that pointed towards the safe.

When Alaye came back to his room with $15,000 dollars that night, he got a phone call. Alaye said, “Take the money that’s in the safe and move it to the one behind the painting, but remember, take a hot shower first.” Peter was overjoyed Alaye opened the safe and what he could see was $100,000 dollars.

The next day he went to Alaye’s hotel room and opened his safe. Only he was too late, and the money was gone. He checked behind the painting and that safe had needed a combination too. After a couple minutes of being upset, he remembered what Alaye said, “Take the money that’s in the safe and move it to the one behind the painting, but remember, take a shower first.” That’s exactly what he did. He took a ten-minute shower. Then he opened the safe, grabbed the money. To his surprise there was not $100,000. He was $1 million dollars richer!

But why did he need to take a shower first?

  6. The reason Peter needed to take a shower first was because Alaye had said, "Take the money that's in the safe and move it to the one behind the painting, but remember, take a hot shower first." The mention of taking a shower was actually a secret message indicating that Alaye had suspected someone might try to rob him. By taking a shower, Peter unknowingly activated a special security feature in the room. This feature released a hidden mechanism that moved the money from the original safe to the one behind the painting, where Alaye had secretly stashed a larger sum of money. So, by following Alaye's instructions and taking a shower, Peter inadvertently triggered the mechanism and ended up with a much larger amount of money than he expected.

  9. Alaye's instruction to "take a hot shower first" was a clever way to ensure that Peter would have time to remove the tiny camera he had planted in the corner of the room. The camera would have captured Peter's actions and might have provided evidence that he had stolen the money.

  10. Taking a "hot" shower was the code to the other safe. Hot represented 8, 15, 20 which was the code. Moving the money to another safe shows that alaye felt like his money could have been stolen so he made sure not to disclose the pin for the other safe.

  11. Alaye's order of "take a shower first" is probably a hint that the code to the second safe is in the bathroom, hence why Peter took a "10-minute shower".

As to why the money increased, some amount may have already been inside before the person Alaye called called moved the money from the first safe into it.
