That would be Home Alone. The movie is not only interesting but it can also be watched and enjoyed by people of all ages. It creates a special bond with loved ones especially when watched as a family.
This movie laid emphasis on the fact that, you don't have to know that you're dying before you start living. It got me all teary and sober. It's an amazing movie.
I think it's "The Shawshank Redemption" it an old movie though. It is my favorite cos - The performances by Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins are pure gold - their chemistry is off the charts! - The script is tight, the pacing is perfect, and the plot twists are mind-blowing. - The themes of hope, friendship, and perseverance are timeless and deeply resonant. - And the ending - holy moly, it's one of the most satisfying and cathartic endings in movie history.
I'm quite drawn towards action/comedy. So I will go with MURDER MYSTERY (1&2)
The mixture of suspense with laughter is so thrilling. You also get to learn the importance of having the right marriage partner and how our differences complement each other. You will often discover that in spite of our flaws, we are unique in very useful ways. Nobody is useless.
For a Cinephile like me, this is one of the hardest questions ever asked to me. But off the top of my head, I'll always call out:
The Dark Knight Inception Mission: Impossible-Fallout Any Jackie Chan film Every James Bond movie (e.g. Goldfinger, Skyfall, The Spy Who Loved Me, License to Kill, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, GoldenEye etc) Planes, Trains & Automobiles (The only comedy movie that made me cry) Parasite The Shawshank Redemption The Green Mile The Babadook Snatch Roxanne Pretty Woman The Usual Suspects 12 Angry Men The Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Original & First Remake) Train to Busan Burn After Reading Memento Knives Out Citizen Kane The Banshees of Inisherin To Kill a Mockingbird The Mouse and His Child Splash The Toy Story series The Lion King No Country for Old Men Inglorious Basterds Elvis Rocketman Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri The Emperor's New Groove The Little Mermaid Superhero movies (Superman, The Avengers, Spider-man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman etc) Goodfellas Pulp Fiction The Hangover Scent of a Woman Liar Liar Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind The Sound of Music The Razz Guy Gone Girl
Enter The Dragon, The Big Boss, Kiss of the Dragon, The Killer, Hard Boiled, The Wicker Man, Everything Everywhere All At Once, The first 3 Indiana Jones movies, V for Vendetta, The Breakfast Club etc
For me to like a movie so much, the following are my factors: The Genre (Though I could watch almost anything). The memories attached to the movie (Most especially movies from my childhood, Like Coming to America, See No Evil Hear No Evil, Lean on Me, Fist of Fury, Red Heat etc). The lessons learned. Favourite actors and actresses. Character performances. Memorable scenes. How the film speaks to me, or how I feel like I can connect with the central character/story (E.g. You & Ted Lasso). Sometimes, its just how quotable a movie can be.
The storyline is amazing. I love the way it interests me every time I watch it. The lead character, Rustom Pavri is so smart and calculative. His role inspires me.
KING RICHARD. I just watched this recently and it has become my new favorite. It's inspirational retelling of the journey to stardom for the Williams sisters and how their father was the driving force behind it. You should give it a watch, it's worth every second.
The punisher : warzone, the punisher is man who was a navy soldier, whose two daughters was murdered then he had to become the punisher to eliminate villains in the who manages to get out with crime but I love this movie because of the fighting scenes and the way he ends crime

If I want to watch a movie and feel like a human again, The Shawshank Redemption is that kind of movie.
