In life all we have is ourself. Friends could be snakes in disguise, conniving against us and wishing us bad. Some parents don't want their kids to leave their dreams and do what they want hence cutting their wings before they can even get a chance to fly. The society doesn't help matters too; putting so much pressure on us and demanding from us more than we can give. "I love you," says you to your lover and he/she responds with same but are you truly the only one in their life? You may just be another name along with Dave, Steve and John. Life isn't all fun and cheerful. It gets gloomy when the reality that you are alone despite having people around hits you. Me, myself and I, all I have until I die.
In this life, self-awareness and self reliance is relevant, to be shielded from external factors whenever they disappoint the individual.
