ReplyDelete"Oh that movie was so good!!"Jasmine exclaimed,I stood behind Jacob nodding my head in agreement, "Spiderman is definitely one of the best marvel movies out there , Did you see the way he jumped from..." I replied as Rachael cut me off with a side glance. It made me remember the time we played Chess and she caught me hiding some pieces, I shivered in terror as she approached me, But at a moment i just stared at this beauty,With her white headphones on, an orange hoodie, This lady has some great taste. "So Godwin how was your movie" She asked sarcastically with a mockery glance , I just kept mute , She looked at me for a while and then pointed to a restaurant close by which we all entered.
ReplyDeleteThe jollof rice there was really great,but her side glances kept me from licking the plate. Music started playing outside, We saw some young people dancing outside, a guy and two girls to be precise. After a while ,they came in and started telling of us of a blog called 1keach day ,And i was impressed by the details they gave , they showed us the blog and walked us through the Guidelines for Newbies and Existing players. I attempted a trivia right away, i then went to the counter to pay for the meals and there was a Map on the desk with miniature pictures in it and beside it a magnifying glass so i took and looked at the first picture there and it was Stone hedge the historical landmark in England. As we stepped out of the restaurant i realised something, this was our last summer hangout!.

ReplyDeleteIn the vibrant city of Mbano, I found myself captivated by the magic of everyday life. I had a unique lens through which I viewed the world, always on the lookout for inspiring stories. One sunny day, as I sat on a park bench, my attention was caught by a black girl named Joy. Clutching a mysterious white power bank and wearing a set of headphones, Joy seemed lost in her own world.
Intrigued, I couldn't help but watch as Joy's eyes sparkled with joy. A serene melody played in her ears, transporting her into a realm of imagination and creativity. It was as if the music had given her wings to soar beyond the boundaries of reality. I knew right then that Joy's story would become the centerpiece of her next film.
I delved deeper into Joy's world, capturing her infectious spirit and the way she effortlessly connected with others. In my film, I envisioned three friends - Joy, Cimdy and a boy called Dan, dancing together. They moved in perfect harmony, radiating joy and freedom. All three wore sunshade eyeglasses, symbolizing their shared vision for a brighter future.
I then guided my camera to a lively celebration where different cultures merged in harmonious unity. The air was filled with laughter, the aroma of mouth-watering jollof rice, succulent fried chicken, and vibrant vegetables. I carefully framed the food, emphasizing its role as the catalyst for bringing people closer together. It represented the flavors of diversity, reminding viewers that strength lies in embracing differences.
Amidst the vibrancy, I unveiled a somber twist in my film. The setting shifted to a haunting place, reminiscent of a graveyard. It signified the challenges and hardships that life presents. However, amidst the shadows, I noticed two neck tags: one labeled "Guidelines for Newbies and Existing Players" and another that urged people to read carefully. These tags held the key to unlocking the potential within oneself.
As the camera zoomed out, the brand's social media handles came into view—a beacon of support and inspiration. They encouraged viewers to follow along, connecting with others on a similar journey. I wanted to emphasize that even in the darkest times, guidance and motivation could be found through community.
I transitioned to a close-up shot of Mark, a brilliant scientist who had become lost in his own thoughts. With one hand on his head, Mark grappled with frustration and confusion. In his other hand, he held a magnifying glass, which allowed him to see things differently. Through this symbol of introspection, I reminded viewers of the power within themselves - the ability to examine their lives more closely, embracing newfound perspectives and possibilities.
The film took a surprising turn as two individuals dressed as Spider-Man appeared before the camera. These heroes embodied the unyielding spirit and resilience within all individuals. They represented the potential for greatness that lies within each person, inspiring viewers to tap into their inner superhero and overcome adversity.
I ended my film with a captivating scene—the camera focused on a hand engaged in a game of chess. The hand belonged to me, signifying my role as the mastermind behind this beautiful journey. The chess pieces mirrored the challenges and choices we face in life, reminding viewers of the strategic mindset required to navigate their own paths.
As the final shot panned out, my film left viewers with a call to action. It urged them to embrace their creativity, reach for their dreams, and seize the opportunities presented by 1keachday. My story offered a reminder that within each person lies immense power—the power to shape their own destiny and unlock the extraordinary within.

MOVIE TITLE: Zamumba
ReplyDeleteThe first scene opens with a short dark man walking along the streets of Zamumba. The ringing of sirens from police cars and the sight of people running helter-skelter gives a hint of how crime-ridden Zamumba is. The camera pans back to the short dark man who is shown to be a police man named Henry. Henry is seen talking to his colleague about the crime scene they were in, which was just one of the many scenes left by the "RUUTHLESS", a crime syndicate so mysterious for their activities that they can be likened to the mystery behind the Stonehenge. This was one of many gangs that terrorised the city. Since no clues were found, it was time for them to leave. Henry searched his pocket for his car keys but couldn't find them. "Could it have fallen off when I took a stroll down the street?," he said. With that he made his plan known to his colleague and took off. On his way he bumbs into a lady in an orange jacket wearing headphones. Before he could give her the paper that fell from her bag, she zooms off. Coincidentally, he finds his keys at the same spot. He looks at the paper and it reads, "HELP FROM Z". Some spots of well arranged dots could be seen on the paper as we. Our protagonist looks to the crowd with an expression that suggests this could be destiny. On reaching home, he wastes no time in trying to decipher what the dots mean but meets a dead end at every turn. Then he has a flashback to a post on his favourite platform, 1keachday. The post had two tags – "Guidelines for newbies and existing players" and " Please read carefully". With this in mind, he took hold of his police guideline book and flipped to article 20. Article 20 talked about not giving up on difficult cases and that the smallest clues hold the biggest revelations. "EUREKA!," Henry screamed as an idea came to him. With his magnifying glass, he took a look at the paper again and was astounded as he saw the location of the RUUTHLESS. He takes this to his superiors and a day is set out for the arrest.
A thrilling scene ensues as Henry and his team bust into the hideout of the once coveted gang. Many members are subdued but the syndicate leader manuvers and goes on the run. Henry not wanting the whole effort to be a waste, chases after him. A hot chase is seen with the syndicate leader pushing away a group of 3 friends that are dancing. Henry is hot on his tail, dodging obstacles, climbing walls and swinging from one window to another – a scene right from a Spiderman movie. Fortunately for Henry, the crime leader doesn't see a tree branch in front and gets blindsided by it. Henry quickly handcuffs him and says "Checkmate", signifying Henry is the winning king piece in this real life game of chess. As the final scene comes on screen, we see Henry in a restaurant. The waiter comes up to him and asks what he wants. He says "I'll have jollof rice and chicken." It is later revealed that the waitress is the mysterious lady wearing a headset in the first scene. With a paper in her hand, she looks at the camera and winks. The end.
The soft glow of twilight illuminates a group of rocks as the camera pans across a serene landscape. The peaceful atmosphere is suddenly interrupted by the sound of music, and we see a young woman, Delphine, listening to her favourite tunes on her headset while admiring the beauty of the setting sun. As she gets lost in the music, she daydreams about escaping her ordinary life and embarking on an adventure. Then, her daydream suddenly comes to life where she finds herself at a vibrant party with friends, dancing and laughing under the stars. The pulsating rhythm of the music fills the air as they groove to the beat, their energy and joy palpable.
ReplyDeleteIn the midst of all the excitement, one of Delphine's friends, Jack, makes a surprising discovery while looking through a magnifying glass. "Wow, look at this!" he exclaims, pointing to a chess board with gold and silver pawns arranged in a peculiar pattern. "Were you not the same person who discovered the 1keachday platform and showed us newbies how to play it?" Goodness quipped. "You will never run out of discoveries, Mr. Discovery!" They chuckle and sit down to play. As the night unfolds, the group enjoys a delicious meal of Jollof rice and chicken, bonding over shared stories and dreams. Little do they know, a new adventure awaits them–one that will test their friendships and lead them to confront larger-than-life challenges, including facing off against Spiderman and Green Goblin in a thrilling game of wits and strategy. Just then, Delphine snaps out of her reverie at the sight of her Mom. She will never get to live out her fantasies–not under Mom's protective eyes.
'One summer day in Hampshire, Kamsi was lost in the rhythm of the tunes played out through her headphones. As Nina Simone crooned the classic song 'Feeling Good', Kamsi relayed her plans for that day and the coming weekend. She will head out to Chuks' place, where he, Stella and Uchechi, all home for the holidays, would get together to have a good time. She hoped to convince them to feel nostalgic enough to watch Spider-Man (the one starring Tobey Maguire)... 'After all, its Thursday. So why not a throwback movie for old times' sake?'. Yeah... That could work, she thought. Chuks even let slip that Mumsy would have Jollof Rice and Chicken ready for them to chill out with. Come Saturday, they would all come over to her place, chess, scrabble and ludo would be on the agenda, but surely chess would be the main attraction. And then Sunday, its a visit to the open fields of Stonehedge. As the song comes to its high pitched end, Kamsi really was feeling good. She checked the time... 30 minutes and she would be heading out.'
