At the cinema box office, a (Physical challenged) deaf and dumb man came to the box office ticket counter. The movie tickets are N500 each. The physical challenged man gave N1,000 and the cinema staff gave him 2 movie tickets without even checking or asking.
Question:
How did the cinema staff know that the man needed 2 tickets? Explain
The cinema staff gave the man two tickets, simply because he paid #1000, which is equivalent to two tickets.

The deaf and dumb man gave N1,000 so the Cinema staff knew that he wanted 2 movie tickets. Otherwise, he would have only given N500.
ReplyDeleteIt is possible that the cinema staff recognized the man as a regular customer who typically purchases two tickets, or the staff may have noticed that the man was using sign language or gesture to indicate that he needed two tickets. Additionally, the staff may have been aware of the man's disability and assumed that he would need a companion to accompany him to the movie. It is also possible that the man communicated the need for two tickets through written notes or other means of communication.
ReplyDeleteThe man might be a regular customer and the staffs would have recognized him. So they might have known what the quantity of tickets he's always purchasing. This would make the staffs attend to him at any time without hesitation.
