Musa has one tiger, one goat and a wrapped heap of grass. He wants to cross a river but there is only one boat and it can’t hold the weight of more than 2 items at a time. Also, he has to make sure that the tiger doesn’t eat the goat and that the goat doesn’t eat the grass.
How will Musa get to the other side of the river with all 3 objects?

First take the goat across.
ReplyDeleteGo back and take the bundle of grass across and take the goat back on the return trip.
Then take the tiger across.
Finally, go back to the goat and take it across to the other side of the river.
